Efteråret i Norge er en helt unik oplevelse. Bevæg dig væk fra de store menneskemængder og storbyens stress og jag, og nyd en rød, gul og orange variant af de norske landskaber.

Godt nok er det blevet både koldere og vådere, men det er ikke desto mindre stadig utroligt fredfyldt at smelte sammen med det pittoreske efterårslandskab. Unge som gamle bevæger sig udendørs for at slappe af med forskellige aktiviteter – i fjeldene, skovene, langs kysten eller endog i byerne. Det bedste af det hele er, at mange af disse aktiviteter er miljøvenlige og har minimal effekt på miljøet, hvis nogen overhovedet.

Nordmændene lever et mere og mere bæredygtigt og etisk ansvarligt liv, og nye, spændende steder bliver certificeret som miljøvenlige destinationer. På Verdensturismedagen, som blev markeret den 27. september, fremhævede den britiske hjemmeside Verdict Norge som en af de ti mest bæredygtige feriedestinationer i verden.

Sagt på en anden måde er efteråret alletiders, hvis du ønsker at rejse grønt i Norge. Lad de norske rejsearrangører introducere dig for nogle af sæsonens miljøvenlige aktiviteter.

1. Et cykeleventyr gennem farverige landskaber

Vil du gerne have mest muligt ud af dit ophold i Norge? Lej en cykel, og læg vejen forbi nogle af landets mest naturskønne områder.

Her finder du alt lige fra høje fjelde og stejle bakker til fladt byterræn – du kan med garanti finde en rute, der passer til lige præcis din form og smag! Om efteråret egner klimaet sig utroligt godt til cykling, især i de sydlige dele af Norge.

Ud over at være en grøn aktivitet er cykling en god måde at komme i kontakt med de lokale på. I Norge går man utroligt højt op i cykling, og mange nordmænd udforsker da også deres eget land fra et cykelsæde.

Hvis du har brug for lidt hjælp til at komme hele vejen op ad bakkerne, er der også råd for det. Mange steder er det nemlig både nemt og billigt at leje elcykler.

2. En forfriskende dukkert i krystalklart vand

Efterhånden som dagene bliver kortere, og temperaturen falder, kræver det mandsmod at hoppe i det kolde vand. Men lad det ikke holde dig tilbage fra den herlige friske følelse af en kold dukkert i en af Norges mange krystalklare søer, elve og fjorde.

Nyd den indre ro i en kajak omgivet af imponerende fjelde og vandfald. Hvis du går efter et adrenalinrush, bør du unde dig selv en tur med raftingbåd på de brusende elve.

Om efteråret tilbyder arrangører over hele landet guidede ture og udstyr til vandsportsentusiaster på alle niveauer.

3. Miljøvenlige museer

Vil du gerne opleve kultur, kulturarv og kunst – og samtidig tænke grønt? Så er du kommet til det helt rigtige sted. I Norge finder du en lang række museer i verdensklasse. Mange af dem er certificerede som bæredygtige og arbejder løbende på at minimere påvirkningen af miljøet. Om efteråret er der nye, spændende udstillinger over hele landet.

Prøv også et af de mange udendørs museer, hvor du får lejlighed til at se berømte skulpturer, historiske bygninger og spændende naturattraktioner i den friske kølige luft.

4. En uforglemmelig vandretur

Nordmændene holder utroligt meget af at trække i et par robuste vandrestøvler og tage på vandretur i fjeldene. Og de deler gerne de bjergtagende omgivelser med alle de rejsende fra nær og fjern.

Tag med på vandretur i fjeldene – men husk en spand til de mange bær, du kan samle i skoven. Om efteråret bugner skovene med saftige blåbær, tyttebær og multebær.

Du behøver heldigvis ikke at bevæge dig langt væk fra storbyen for at nyde den uberørte natur. Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger og Trondheim ligger alle i nærheden af ideelt vandreterræn langs fjorde, skove og fjelde.

Det bliver ikke grønnere!

5. Stejle klipper for eventyrere med hang til adrenalinkick

Norge er kendt for sine majestætiske fjelde, stejle skrænter og fascinerende klippeformationer. Men tør du prøve kræfter med de stejle vægge?

Det er en helt speciel oplevelse at nå toppen af en klatrerute. Og lige præcis den følelse kan du få om efteråret på en af de mange forskellige klatredestinationer rundt omkring i landet, hvor der kan bookes guidede ture for klatrere på alle niveauer. Men pas nu på. Husk, at klatring uden guide er en aktivitet, der kun er forbeholdt de mest rutinerede klatrere.

Hvis du rejser med børn eller ikke er tryg ved højder, findes der andre muligheder. Du kan for eksempel lege Tarzan og Jane for en dag og udfordre dig selv i en udendørs klatrepark. Der er bygget flere nye, moderne klatreparker inden for de senere år.

6. Den perfekte fangst

En kystlinje på 101.388 kilometer. 450.000 søer. Og 332 forskellige fiskearter. Hvis du drømmer om en autentisk udendørsoplevelse i Norge, bør du uden tvivl tage på fisketur.

Efteråret er en enestående mulighed for at få den perfekte fangst. Havet bugner med torsk, sej og helleflynder, mens der er gode muligheder for at fange både laks og ørred i en af de mange søer. Det kræver bare lidt tålmodighed. Og så skal du selvfølgelig vide, hvor du skal tage hen.

Vær forberedt på skiftende vejr

Om efteråret i Norge bliver luften friskere og sprødere, samtidig med at vejret bliver vådere og vildere.

Fra september kan der være ret voldsomme regnskyl, og stormene rammer kysten.

Men lad ikke dette afskrække dig fra et besøg. På skyfri dage kan du opleve de smukke efterårsfarver og den sidste glød af sommersolen.

Beklædning

Om efteråret i Norge er det vigtigt at have vand- og vindtæt tøj med eller på.

Hvis du planlægger at være udendørs i længere tid, anbefales det at klæde sig på i lag (helst uld) – det er bedre end én tyk sweater.
