Vieving stones. Eight different sculptured "vieving stones" have been placed in to the landscape, on locations related to tales of local female figures. Gonil Dale, Guro Lommodden, Kivlemøyane, Guro heddeli, Tårån i troppin, Glima i Rupedalar, Ljose-Signe i Bindingsnuten and Skuldalsbruri.

Eight different sculptured "vieving stones" have been placed in to the landscape, on locations related to tales of local female figures. Gonil Dale, Guro Lommodden, Kivlemøyane, Guro heddeli, Tårån i troppin, Glima i Rupedalar, Ljose-Signe i Bindingsnuten and Skuldalsbruri. each of these women has fiddle music named after them. Eight different sculptors have given their interpretation of the stories. You will find one "vieving stone" in Åmotsdal, three in Flatdal and four in Seljord.
By each stone there is a bench where people can sit down and enjoy the piece of art in the landscape.
The intention has been to create a touching experience of art, whilst simultaneously highlighting the hidden art, the experience of the landscape and the story telling mobile service.
