Adventure to the North Cape by Night and Hunt for the Aurora Borealis

Join Arctic Guide Service on the Arctic Night Adventure to the North Cape and the island of Magerøya. On the way through the fascinating arctic landscape you will leave the lights of Honningsvåg behind and follow a snowplough along the white and exhilarating road all the way up to the North Cape plateau.

From the plateau you may enjoy the experience of standing on top of the steep cliff with only the Barents Sea below and the illuminated globe in front of you, and witness the phenomenon of the polar nights during the long, dark winters in the Arctic Circle. After our visit to the North Cape we will continue our quest for the northern lights. According to the latest weather forecast and our best approximation of where to spot the magnificent Green Lady Aurora we will take you to other scenic places on the island of Magerøya.

This five-hour excursion includes pickup at the hotel, a polar lights chase with an authorised guide and a “best-of” selection of the pictures taken by the guide.

Please note: Access to North Cape is weather dependant, alternative route will be offered if the road is closed due to weather conditions.
